My role involved redesigning a hospital's consultant profile page to make it more accessible and user-friendly for a diverse audience, including patients, colleagues and returning users. The brief was a challenging one, focusing on overcoming language barriers, simplifying complex medical jargon, and creating a design that was both clear and tech-friendly for users with varying digital literacy. The process began with extensive user research and competitor analysis to foster empathy and identify key user needs.

Following a comprehensive UX audit of the existing page, I prioritised key design improvements and created wireframes that addressed the identified pain points. The final design, which moved to a clear, single-column layout, successfully enhanced usability and reduced scroll fatigue by using collapsable panels and a sticky sub-menu. This project successfully improved the user experience and laid the groundwork for future optimisations across the entire platform.
