This project involved a complete redesign of a talented pianist's website, which was previously uninspiring, unresponsive, and ineffective at promoting her work. My goal was to create a modern, user-friendly platform that would properly showcase her music and engage her audience.
My process began with extensive competitor and user research to understand audience expectations, which highlighted a strong demand for clear concert listings, location details, and email notifications. Based on these insights, I designed a simple, single-page website with a sticky navigation bar to reduce user confusion and ensure a seamless experience on both desktop and mobile. The new site streamlined the fan experience and, by integrating a simplified Mailchimp sign-up, made it effortless for the artist to connect with her audience. The result was a dramatic increase in fan engagement, leading to a 600% growth in her mailing list and a consistent rise in sold-out concerts.
